Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls and wait on walk in customers/ techs at back counter
  • Learn the parts catalog
  • Order recall parts as needed
  • Place and manage critical orders for the shop
  • Due estimates as requested by the our service department
  • Maintain our hardware inventory using our DMS’s recommended stocking levels
  • Identify, source, expedite parts and materials for customers
  • Complete the Navistar required training courses and become a Navistar certified parts counter sales person.
  • Assist with shipments as they arrive
  • Stock shelves as needed from the overstocked area
  • Keep shipping and receiving area clean and organized.
  • Complete any assignments given you by management
Essential functions:
  • Ability to lift up to 75# (10% of daily work)
  • Ability stand and walk (95% of daily work)
  • Incoming and outgoing parts and material processing
  • Loading and unloading trucks – sometimes by hand
  • Competency in basic computer functions.
Qualifications:
  • Skills: Organization and attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience: None required
  • Licenses: Good driving record. CDL helpful, but not necessary
  • Specialized training: Operation of forklift helpful, but not necessary. You will be required to obtain forklift certification once employed.
